Warcraft: Legends Volume 1

Tokyopop is planning to introduce a few new series this coming August, consisting of Aspirin, Jade of Bango, JYU-OH-SEI, The Mysterians, StarCraft: Frontline, Too Long, and Warcraft: Legends.

Along with, expect many new installments for existing series, including Archlord Volume 6, Avatar: The Last Airbender Volume 8, Boys Be… Volume 17, Hannah Montana Volume 5, Initial D Volume 31, and Trinity Blood Volume 7.

Will Tokyopop’s woes alter this line-up? Only time will tell…

Star Trek: The Manga Volume 3

Tokoypop will be introducing a number of new manga series this coming July, including Yonen Buzz: Plastic Chew, Vassalord, Tokko, Silver Diamond, and Daemonium. A unique offering in the way of Princess Ai of Ai-Land: The Comic Strip Collection compliments many new mainstay installments, including The Queen’s Knight Volume 12, Rave Master Volume 29, Samurai Deeper Kyo Volume 29, and Fruits Basket Volume 20.

And Wil Wheaton represents in Star Trek: The Manga Volume 3. Very cool.

Tokyopop recently announced their continuing relationship with Blizzard Entertainment, with more Warcraft - and new Starcraft manga - on the way.

Chronicles of the Cursed Sword Volumes 1-3 Collection

Tokyopop intros lots of new series in April with Dragon Sister, Element Line, eV, Gosick, Hellgate: London, Hotel Africa, I-Doll, and Momotte Shugogetten.

They also have a couple new omnibus editions in the pipe: Chronicles of the Cursed Sword: Vols. 1-3 Collection and King of Hell: Volumes 1-3.

Transformers: The Animated Series Volume 2With the new animated series scheduled to premiere this month, along with the motion picture DVD finding it’s way under many a Christmas tree, I figured it a good time to update the GNA’s Transformers Graphic Novels guide.

Demon Ororon: Complete CollectionSome new series from Tokyopop this December, including Love Attack, NOiSE, The Other Side of the Mirror, and Gakuen Alice.

Also noteworthy is Tokyopop’s relatively new (and welcome) omnibus collection mindset, with a couple of collected editions scheduled for release. Look for Sgt. Frog Collection Volume 1 (collecting volumes 1-3), along with The Demon Ororon: the Complete Collection.
