Oni Press’ Local (hardcover) has been delayed, pushed back from a 9/17/08 release, now scheduled for 10/29/08.

No major delay announcements this week, with the worst offender being DC/CMX’s The King of Cards Volume 5, having slipped from mid-August to early September. Somewhat of a trade off, as Teru Teru X Shonen Volume 3 has been moved up from September 10th to September 3rd.

Online comic fandom is up in arms over DC’s recent Showcase Presents announcement, what with numerous books canceled, others shuffled, others fast tracked.
