Newsarama’s Matt Brady recently interviewed Matt Wagner - creator of Grendel and artist/writer of the recently collected Batman Vs. Grendel - about the allocated over-ordering of the limited edition hardcover, and his Ebay auction fundraiser for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, consisting of none other than a signed/beautifully sketched artist proof edition of the sold out hardcover.

Attention Dark Horse Omnibus fans! Save those pennies, as DH will be delivering three new omnibus editions soon: Star Wars Omnibus: Early Victories, Predator Omnibus Volume 4, and Ghost Omnibus Volume 1.

‘Course, there’s plenty more graphic novels scheduled as well. Look for a couple new Hellboy related books in the form of Abe Sapien Volume 1: The Drowning and Hellboy Library Edition: The Chained Coffin, The Right Hand of Doom, and Others. (What a title, eh?) Manga fans can look forward to Ghost Talker’s Daydream Volume 2, Hellsing Volume 9 and Oh My Goddess! Volume 10.

Archive fans can look forward to Herbie Archives Volume 1. Manga otaku have some Appleseed, Blood+ and Oh My Goddess! on the way, while Star Wars fans have a ginormous Luke Skywalker themed hardcover in the pipe. Plus more.

Dark Horse is planning to release a number of omnibus books this coming April, including Predator Omnibus Volume 3, Indiana Jones Omnibus Volume 2, and the stand-alone Star Wars Omnibus: Droids. Also expect to see a number of Dark Horse mainstay appearances, including Buffy, Conan, Star Wars, Grendel, and a Hellboy spinoff. Manga fans can look forward to a revised edition of Appleseed Volume 2: Prometheus Bound, more Oh My Goddess!, MPD-Psycho, and the first installment of Gantz.

The Terminator Omnibus Volume I includes Terminator Tempest, One Shot, Secondary Objectives, and The Enemy Within. It will be available in retail stores everywhere February 20, 2008 with an SRP of $24.95. The Terminator Omnibus Volume II will follow on March 26.
