Site Updates
Besides adding a number of graphic novels to the archive and catching up on blog posts, I’ve made some improvements to the site over the past month or two. Quick synopsis follows:
Updated Review and Preview sections
I’ve revamped the site’s Review and Preview shortcut pages. You can now easily browse alphanumerically, or if you’d prefer, search the review or preview databases for exactly what you’re looking for.
Comparison Shopper additions
I’ve added a few additional online retailers to the comparison shopper routine.
Wish List Price Watch
Registered GNA visitors are already aware of the site’s Wish List service. Basically, you can maintain a list of books you hope to own or purchase in the near future.
When adding a graphic novel to your wish list, you can opt to include the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the edition. Either a set dollar amount, or a percentage of the cover price.
Now, you can flag up to five editions in your wish list as “Price Watch” items. If any of these books are offered by one of the GNA’s primary comparison shopper vendors, and matches your price criteria, you’ll receive an e-mail letting you know.
For those out of print books, this should prove a handy option for collectors looking for hard to find editions.
