Site Update: The spotlight on Spotlight
Recently added Spotlight’s graphic novel offerings to the archive, amounting to 125 editions.
Spotlight, a division of ABDO Publishing Company, is unique in that it re-prints comic book material from other publishers (such as Marvel, Archie, and Papercutz) in hardbound, reinforced format. While a bit pricey compared to comparable consumer books, Spotlight editions are primarily designed for the library market, where they’ll typically pay for themselves many times over (given wear and tear with a book’s circulation).
